Castlecore Spectacular
The Castle & Cathedral Creative District presents Castlecore Spectacular, a celebration of all things Medieval in the fantastic setting of Omaha's own Joslyn Castle.
Hear ye, hear ye! Your presence is requested at the Castle!
From 2pm to 3pm the Fontenelle Forest Raptor Program will grace us with a presentation on falcons and their importance in the medieval era, featuring two live falcons from their rescue program! Guests will then be able to ask questions and take photos with the birds after the presentation.
At 3pm we will have a fashion history lecture with examples of Medieval to Renaissance inspired garments and accessories, think chainmail, lush tapestries and velvets.
*Seating in the music room is limited to a capacity of 65, there will be standing room on the balcony, please arrive early if you wish to sit for the presentations*

There will be a cash + credit card bar serving refreshments, ale and wine (with ID) for those who choose to imbibe.
Doors open to the public at 1:30pm, and presentations start at 2pm.
Registration is $5 (kids under 5 are free) and this is an all ages family friendly event! Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event.
