Private Tours
Built in 1903, the stunning private home of George and Sarah Joslyn is open for group tours. The Joslyn Castle is a premier historic landmark located in Omaha’s Gold Coast in the heart of midtown. The Scottish Baronial style mansion was designed by John McDonald, one of Omaha’s most prominent architects in the early 1900s. The Castle was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and designated a local landmark in 1979.
Private tours are available Monday - Friday between 9:00am - 8:00pm, subject to availability.
Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance; we are a small staff with a limited number of tour guides and need time to arrange a guide for you. Thank you for understanding!
We will review your request forms as quickly as we are able; a reply may take a hand-full of days as the current tour coordinator is a part time employee, and not in the office every day.
Free parking is available. The Castle is equipped with a lift assist on the North side and an elevator inside.
