Join us for a romantic engagement in one of the most romantic venues in town: the Joslyn Castle! You and your loved one will dine at a private table nestled within the Castle's storied halls, while the gentle strumming from the harp provides the perfect soundtrack to your meal. Your intimate dinner will be accompanied by a performance from celebrated harpist Katie Wychulis.
Your reservation includes welcome cocktail, dinner, and a glass of wine with dinner. Each party is seated at a private table in one of the beautiful rooms of Joslyn Castle.

About our performer:
Omaha native Katie Wychulis is principal harp of the Lincoln Symphony, Boulder Philharmonic and Sioux City Symphony. She graduated cum laude from the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Alice Chalifoux and Yolanda Kondonassis, and received her Master of Music degree from Rice University as a student of Paula Page. In 2001, Katie received a Fulbright grant to study contemporary harp performance practices in Australia, where she studied with Alice Giles at the Australian National University in Canberra as a candidate for a Graduate Diploma in Music.
Performance highlights include concertos with the Omaha Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Lincoln Symphony, Sioux City Symphony, Houston Chamber Players, Woodstock Chamber Orchestra, and Minot Symphony. In addition to her solo appearances, Katie has appeared as guest harpist with the St. Louis Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Britt Festival Orchestra, Colorado Music Festival, Canberra Symphony Orchestra, and the National Repertory Orchestra. She has been an active chamber musician with such groups as the Nebraska Chamber Players and the Omaha Chamber Music Society.
Katie has remained an active volunteer for many local area non-profits, serving on the boards of the Great Plains Harp Chapter, Omaha Chamber Music Society and Third Chair Chamber Players. She continues to teach harp at the university level and through the Omaha Public Schools, gives masterclasses nationwide, and maintains a private studio in Omaha. She currently resides in Omaha with her husband and three daughters.
