April 18: Ryne Doughty

Carriage House Concerts features local musicians in an intimate venue: the Castle's historic Carriage House.

Join us Friday, April 18th, for a live concert with Ryne Doughty!

Doors open at 7pm, concerts begin at 7:30pm. This is a 16+ event. Capacity is limited.

Music from the Heartland. Songs from the heart.

Ryne Doughty is a Folk/Americana singer-songwriter out of Des Moines, IA, whose music is deeply rooted in real life stories of love, loss, work, and play. His stripped down, earthy sound is directly influenced by the small, rural town where he was born and raised. The hard-working, simple living, and friendly way of life of the Midwest shines through his music that is understated yet complex and rich with beauty and realness.

Playing behind his fifth studio album, “Spring Done Sprung”, Doughty is continuing to make a name for himself around the midwest. With solid finger-style guitar picking and a rich baritone voice he brings a dynamic of warmth and richness to the stage. Doughty’s performances are always passionate and full of energy and songs that touch in the common life moments that we all share. His live performance and studio albums alike will not leave you wanting. Doughty’s main passion in life is to share his music with the very people who help influence it; the real, hard working, everyday people that make this beautiful world go around.

April 26: Brother East Brother West

The Brother East Brother West Band came together when they saw a need in our music community for a band that could play for a large variety of crowds, perform a wide range of music, and draw crowds into a show. With decades of combined experience, Brother East Brother West has quickly become one of Nebraska’s most entertaining acts. With 250 songs spanning six decades, Brother East Brother West knows how to please patrons.

From its beach towns to bohemian cafes, California native Jamie Hanmer delivers a laid-back guitar style and smooth vocals with a West Coast vibe. With more than 30 years of performance and session experience, Jamie engages audiences with his deeply rooted Americana soul.

Originally from New York, John Nania has logged countless musical miles and nearly 5,000 shows and recording sessions on four continents. He’s played bass, guitar, and Chapman Stick for various musical acts and producers, from regional heroes to Rock & Roll Hall of Famers and Grammy Award winners.

Originally from St. Louis, Brendon Yates is an accomplished drummer, percussionist, and music educator. Driven by a passion for drumming, Brendon created Purecussion Music, a program catering to the needs of modern percussionists. Brendon grew Purecussion into an award-winning drumline.

Whether performing at the 2022 and 2024 Nebraska Blues Challenge, wowing audiences at the 2024 Omaha Battle of the Bands, performing onscreen at the 2024 Veteran’s Memorial Park 4th of July Celebration, being featured in a spotlight story on KIOS’ Live & Local with Mike Hogan, or logging 65 shows in 2024, Brother East Brother West has gathered a loyal following around Omaha & Lincoln.
