Join us in the Carriage House for a free information panel and discussion moderated by Jeff Koterba with filmmakers Tabitha Lincoln and Alec Rome, screenwriter Christine Burright and Rodney Lincoln.

Tabitha Lincoln and Alec Rome are working on a documentary about the conviction and eventual release (due in part to the advocacy of the Innocence Project) of the formerly incarcerated-person, Rodney Lincoln. The “coast-to coast” killer, Tommy Lynn Sells, is now believed to have been responsible for the murders originally attributed to Rodney Lincoln.

Tabitha’s Bio:

Tabitha Lincoln is a born and raised Nebraska filmmaker. She grew up with a camera in her hand and originally started in the photography medium before working her way into film. She has been a production assistant for various TV shows such as: World Series of Poker, 90 Day Fiance, Local Love, Signs of a Psychopath and It’s All Country! Beyond Bars will be her first documentary as well as her first time directing and producing. When Tabitha is not filmmaking you can find her bartending at Platypus, working on her screenplay Cybersick, and fostering dogs from the Humane Society!

Alec’s Bio:

Alec Rome is an Omaha native that has always loved all things production. He graduated from UNL with a Bacholers in Broadcasting and has used his degree to be a photographer and videographer for the World Series of Poker, a live streamer of Wheel of Fortune games in his own living room, and to start his own Youtube channel. In his freetime you can find him throwing darts at his local dive bar, going on walks with his dog Gary, and competitively playing backgammon.

Christine Burright is a screenwriter currently based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Her television pilots and screenplays have been named finalists in NBC Writers on the Verge, Launch Pad Pilots, Atlanta Film Festival and the John Milius Screenwriting Award, and have competed in festivals from Los Angeles to Berlin. Her first produced feature screenplay The Headliner premiered 2024 and will be available on streaming in 2025. Christine directs and produces short films and is the half of animation and production studio, Crispy Pickle Films. She holds a BFA and MFA in Creative Writing from UNO.
