Carriage House Concerts: Uh Oh & Tom Bartolomei
Join us Saturday, June 8th in the Carriage House on the grounds of the Joslyn Castle & Gardens for an all-ages show featuring local favorites Uh Oh and Tom Bartolomei!
About Uh Oh:
Uh Oh is an energetic indie rock band, melding together folky punky influences from artists like Rilo Kiley, Bright Eyes, Jeff Rosenstock, and the Beach Boys to create their own unique flavor. Uh Oh co-songwriters Joe Champion and Mari Crisler bring heartfelt lyrics and singular vocal harmonies to the forefront, combining with dynamic instrumentals to carve out their own space in the indie rock landscape.
Uh Oh recently released their third full-length album, "Cicada Songs," which can be found along with the rest of their catalog, on all streaming services.
About Tom Bartolomei:
Tom Bartolomei is a Heartland folk singer and songwriter from Omaha, Nebraska. His songs center around fingerstyle playing and are heavily inspired by songsmiths such as Blaze Foley, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clarke, and Jackson C. Frank, with a certifiably Midwest tone. Hitting on tropes of heartbreak, loss, the open road, and moving on; these songs are for the lost and longing."
"Bartolomei's 2019 release 'Red Line' is available for streaming on Spotify and Bandcamp. Upcoming releases, Songs for the Puget Sound and B-Sides, are on the horizon.
Carriage House Concerts are an offering of the Castle & Cathedral District, a program made possible with support of the Nebraska Arts Council.
