Queens for the Castle Drag Brunch + Art Show
Queens For the Castle invites you to be our guest as we celebrate the art of drag while raising funds for OUR queen, the Joslyn Castle!
In addition to performances by some of Omaha’s most celebrated drag artists, guests will enjoy an art installation on the second floor curated by Kiechel Fine Art, featuring the Joslyns bedrooms transformed into galleries. These two galleries will showcase both contemporary Midwestern artists, and classic Midwestern Regionalist artists (including Thomas Hart Benton and John Steuart Curry!). Managing the exhibit installation is our Artist-in-Residence Watie White.
Providing an elevated brunch menu are our friends at Saddle Creek Breakfast Club, with two stations located throughout the home.
If you choose to imbibe, we’ll be slanging Bloody Mary’s with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, or pick your champagne poison with a bellini or a mimosa.
Guests will be invited to participate in a "Tiara Toss" wine toss, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction brimming with amazing excursions and handpicked items from local businesses.
The Castle will be filled with music, art, and food – what more could we ask for as we continue our mission to preserve and share our historic treasure?
