Art Walk!
Thursday, June 20th, 5pm-8pm. All ages!
Bring the entire family for an evening out in the Joslyn Castle neighborhood along 40th Street, between Dodge and Cuming Streets. District partners Cathedral Arts Project Omaha, Cali Commons, Joslyn Castle & Gardens, and the Joslyn Castle Neighborhood Association, are looking forward to opening up our venues for an evening of art, food, and fun!
• CAP: Cathedral Arts Project, in collaboration with Saint Cecilia Cathedral, presents “Sacred Garments & Artifacts.” This exhibit showcases the fashion and design of garments and artifacts of the Catholic Church spanning more than 3 centuries.
• Cali Commons: Cali Commons hosts their June art show featuring local and regional artists. A best of show prize will be awarded.
• JCNA: The Joslyn Castle Neighborhood Association are guests of Cali Commons and will host an information booth.
• Joslyn Castle & Gardens:
-Opening of “Iconic Omaha: Mid-Century Graphic Design” ft. the archives of Hutcheson Displays, Inc.
-Last chance to see the “In Conversation” show featuring the art of Sarah Rowe and Susette La Flesche (in the Castle).
-Dripps BBQ Food Truck
-Art vendors on the lawn, featuring paintings, jewelry, ceramics, and more! (If there is rain, we will move the vendors indoors).
-Live music by the talented Jerome Birch
