Preserve Omaha Community Fair
Preserve Omaha (formerly Restoration Exchange Omaha), in collaboration with Joslyn Castle, is excited to announce the first annual Preserve Omaha Community Fair! Join us for this FREE event on July 9th from 12:00-5:00 at the Castle to enjoy a fun day filled with activities, food trucks, a beer garden, demonstrations, entertainment, walking and trolley tours of the neighborhood, and more. Businesses, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations that keep preservation in mind will be featured throughout the Joslyn Castle & Gardens!
PRESERVE: Businesses, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations are eager to meet and talk with you about the services they can provide and how they support the preservation of the Omaha area. Come support small businesses and local artists as part of the day’s festivities. Also, become a member of Preserve Omaha at the fair and receive free swag!
LEARN: The fair will feature presentations and demonstrations throughout the day. Have you ever wanted to learn more about the Trans Mississippi Expo or how to research the history of your property? Do you have home projects you need to figure out how to DIY? You won’t want to miss our presenters! Also, don’t forget to take a ride on Ollie the Trolley and/or take a walking tour to learn more about the historic Joslyn Castle neighborhood.
EAT AND DRINK: Food trucks including Pulled BBQ Omaha, Maria Bonita - Taco Truck, Hudson’s Mini Donut Company, and eCreamery will be at the fair! And did we mention the beer garden with beer from our sponsor Infusion Brewing?!
ENTERTAINMENT: There will be music, dance, games, and more for the whole family to enjoy!
PARKING: Free parking will be available at the Joslyn Castle parking lot as well as the parking lots at St. Cecilia’s and Duchesne. BONUS: Each of these 3 stops serve as park-and-ride locations for our free trolley neighborhood tour! Ollie the Trolley will be at each stop approximately every 30 minutes for the duration of the fair.
This family-friendly event is a celebration of the community and honoring the Omaha metro’s rich history and preservation.
We can’t wait to see you there!
