Twain Fest Launch Party
The Twain Train is leaving the station…join us as we celebrate the launch of our 10th Annual Art and Literary Festival: Celebrating the Life and Works of Mark Twain!
On September 12th, join the Joslyn Castle and Metropolitan Community College for an evening at the Castle celebrating all-things Twain. Sip an Old Fashioned from our cash bar as you enjoy an exhibit of local tin-type photography on display, mingle with characters from “An Evening With Twain,” play croquet on the front lawn…and maybe even compete in our Mark Twain look-a-like contest!* In addition, partake in a tasting of Twain's favorite libation, bourbon, led by Alzuri of Spirit World! The event will be set to the tunes of local bluegrass legends Southpaw Bluegrass Band picking us through the night.
This is a free community event for those 21+. Space is limited and registration is required.
*Dress in your finest Mark Twain cosplay for a chance to win two tickets to a performance of "An Evening with Mark Twain!"
