Hear ye, hear ye! Your presence is requested at the Castle on March 27 + 28 for our second annual Castlecore Spectacular!! Back by popular demand, join us in celebration of all things Medieval in the fantastic setting of Omaha’s own Joslyn Castle. This year we present two unique experiences, an adults only evening journey told through Medieval characters and a daytime festival for the entire family.
Castlecore Legends & Libations
The Joslyn Castle invites all ye olden spirits and young at heart to a fantastical fundraiser immersive experience with the goal of filling the pot to preserve our beautiful Scottish Baronial mansion! We commence our Castlecore weekend with this evening of spirits, tastes and history brought to life.
Guests will journey through our storied halls, each room revealing a unique historical character vignette accompanied by an inspired cocktail, crafted by the artisans at the Green Room with culinary pairings designed by local chef extraordinaire, Sam “Tiny” Laughlin.

Arrive as a member of the royal court, a knight, or a bard, we encourage Medieval and Renaissance inspired attire for this theatrical event!
This event is for those who are at least 21 years of age- you will be asked to show your ID at check-in.
Advanced tickets are required, we will not be selling any tickets at the door. Make haste – this exclusive experience will surely sell out!

Educational Elements
The Fontenelle Forest Raptor Program will grace us with a presentation on owls, featuring birds from their rescue program!
A member of the Scottish Rite will delve into the mystical origins of the Freemasons, with a display of ceremonial robes from their collection.
Ascend the grand staircase to our third floor ballroom gallery for an art show curated by Artist in Residence, Sarah Rowe!

Family Activities
The Joslyn Castle Gold Room will host kid’s crafts throughout the day along with performances by Cheeky Rabbit Puppets at 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm!
The Castle bar will be offering refreshments, so please bring a valid ID to partake in adult beverages!
The Pim Thai Food Truck will be set up in the Castle parking lot for all your lunchtime cravings! Families are welcome to bring a picnic and blanket to enjoy our garden (weather permitting).
This all ages family friendly event is $10 (kids age 5 and under are free). Tickets can also be purchased at the door day of.
