A dedicated collaborator with over 150 performed works, he has frequently worked with opera, theater, and dance programs, as well as noise, free-improv, and new media artists on projects ranging from video collaborations to 24-hour live performance art works. Dr. Stacey Barelos is a sound artist, composer, performer, and educator whose work has reached audiences across five continents. As a performer, she specializes in 20th- and 21st-century music, with a focus on living composers. She co-founded Ludus Duo with Italian pianist Arianna Granieri to explore adventurous repertoire for multiple keyboards and toy instruments. In 2025, the duo will share their recent work at various venues in Athens, Greece. In 2023, she released her third solo album, Toy, Toy, Toy, featuring solo and collaborative works for toy piano. She regularly performs and leads workshops locally, regionally, and internationally—most recently at the Ex Nihilo Festival in Guanajuato, Mexico, and the University of Nebraska–Kearney New Music Festival.

Phill Smith is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and software engineer based in Omaha, NE. His solo performances and work with Screaming Plastic explore interactions between improvising performers and software systems. He has appeared as a drummer on albums by Pink Neighbor, Katie Sin, Justin Carter, Erik Jarvis, among others. His music has been described by KLANG as “high velocity, quasi-grindcore feedback music.”
